The Unity support group helps you maximise the benefits from your instrumentation and improve the quality of your analysis using genuine new and refurbished spares and carried out by experienced factory trained engineers.

Preventative On-site Maintenance

Service contracts are available in 2 options:

1. Annual Service Contract
2. Service Only

Annual Service Contract

An Annual Service Contract ensures a consistent level of care for your instrument with regular scheduled preventative maintenance visits. Regular maintenance not only preserves the long-term value of your instrument and ensures optimum results it is also the best insurance possible for your business.

We reduce your servicing costs by programming our visits to all customers in the same area in the same visit. We also monitor your instrument and advise you of potential issues, and plan the timely replacement of wearing parts to remove the risk of your instrument failing. Additionally our Service Contracts allow for one emergency breakdown per annum, free of travel and labour charges representing significant savings.

Features

The key features of our Annual Service Contracts are:

1. Scheduled dates for Preventative Maintenance visit (x1) and where applicable annual replacement of bearings and air filters.
2. Allowance for one emergency breakdown repair free of labour and travel/ transport charges.
3. All parts during the contract period are provided at 10% discount off list price
4. You have access to our Service Engineers for un-limited over-the-phone consultation on system problems as well as calibration support when you require it.
5. Unity Scientific NIR include a replacement Source Lamp (where applicable);
6. Faster prioritised support.

Options available for additional charges (options will vary depending on the instrument type):

Service Only Contract

A Service Only contract is available for areas and instruments not serviced by our Annual Service Contract options. This option provides for a single on-site Preventative Maintenance visit, programmed to occur concurrently with our other scheduled service work in the region. Choose this option when you wish to take advantage of our Service Engineer performing work in your geographic region. Pre-booking essential.

Features:

• One Preventative Maintenance visit ,on-site at an agreed time and location (includes replacement of bearings and air filters where applicable)
• All parts during the life of the contract at a discount of 10% off list price.

Breakdown Services

Breakdown services can be provided on-site or your faulty instrument can be returned to our Sydney workshops for repairs. Breakdown services are suitable for companies that have not taken out a Service Contract, or where instruments are used only as a back-up.

Features

1. Experienced Engineers attend to your instrument fault.
2. Speedy return-to-base breakdown service provides a repair option for very remote locations.
3. Genuine new and refurbished spares (where necessary) are available for almost all Bran+Luebbe InfraAlysers.

Availability

1. On-site Breakdown services are not available outside Australia;
2. Return-to-base breakdown services are available for all Australian remote, Pacific and Asian locations;
3. On-site Breakdown services are available for all Bran+Luebbe InfraAlysers; Technicon InfraAlysers; Unity Scientific Near Infrared Analysers.

Commissioning and Installation Services

Our experienced Engineers can provide on-site commissioning and installation of all models of Unity Scientific NIR Spectrophotometers, Bran+ Luebbe InfraAlysers, Technicon InfraAlysers.

Commissioning and installation by our Engineers is ideal for when instruments are being relocated from one plant to another or instruments have been purchased privately and need to be installed. Combine this service with a preventative maintenance visit to ensure your instrument is in optimal condition before installation.

Features

1. Installation and commissioning by an experienced factory trained Engineer;
2. Can be combined with a preventative maintenance service;
3. Also available with Operator training;
4. A full range of genuine accessories and spares available;
5. Operation manuals available for most instruments.

Remote on-line fault diagnostics

Unity Scientific SpectraStars have the capability to be connected to a telephone line or broadband connection. This connection to the instrument allows our Engineer to remotely access the instrument and fault find or assist with calibration work

Features

1. Instruments can be installed in very remote locations, and still accessed by our experienced Engineers;
2. Our Engineers can fault find remotely and isolate problems;
3. Our Engineers can assist inexperienced staff through calibration and operational problems

• Available only on Unity Scientific SpectraStars;
• Available only in conjunction with an Annual Service Contract;
• Available in all areas of Australia, The Pacific and Asia.
